Things have been pretty hectic and crazy the past 3 weeks! 3 weeks ago, we started back up working on campus... no, I didn't get a full time position... yet again... but I blame that on district cutbacks and intradistrict transfers! Anyhow, we have stayed BUSY... we had lots of new enrollment that week before school started, lots of work to be done around the campus getting things ready... and get this, I discovered the student I was originally hired to work with re-enrolled at our school. So, the past couple weeks I've been working with him again. This week is catching up to me I think... I've been dividing myself between 2 students... and it's getting a little taxing on me! Also, there are some things going on that I am having to take up the slack for. Additionally, I've been making beaded lanyards for people at work... and that's made me pretty exhausted, too. Okay... so I haven't really been able to just THINK about anything. I feel like all I do is work, come home, eat a snack, doze off on the couch, wake up for dinner, and then shower and go back to sleep just to do it again another day...!
And, unfortunately even being a 3 day weekend isn't going to guarantee me any relaxation... Rob and them are headed back over to SA so they can make their way to Schlitterbahn this weekend, and Conner's staying with us... and we are supposed to go to my Grandma's... and I bet anything that the entire "troupe" will be attending this time since they didn't come last weekend... and not to be rude, but I'm around kids... lots of them... all week... and the last thing I want on a 3 day weekend is to be surrounded by bratty kids that don't listen and run all around trashing things. The best part is, they're ROUGH with my nephew... and I don't appreciate that... not to mention, I think he picks up on their bad behavior just in the short amount of time he's around them... and he's an encouragable 2 year old...!
*sigh* I wonder how long I'd be hearing about it if I opted to stay home on Sunday afternoon...?
