BRING IT ON!

This week will be my first full week with my class. I did go in on Friday, but only half a day... and I didn't teach... just observed to know what I would need to address with rules/expectations this week. There is a list of things... :) Anyhow, I feel confident that the rest of the year will go well. Hopefully the structure will help the class quite a bit. The worst part was grading papers this weekend, and realizing that I have a GOOD DEAL of re-teaching that will take place soon.

This week should be fairly easy. Our state testing for Writing is next Weds, so this week the kids will be doing a LOT of writing. Hopefully it'll get them more prepared. I have some mini lessons, and then I'll be meeting with kids to work on their revising/editing. Hopefully it'll all go well. I'm glad there's not TOO much planned, because then that gives me time to go over things I need to go over as far as rules and stuff... I needed this week to be more laid back so that I can address this week just like this is the first week of school. :)
