I made it through week 2 and to my first 3 day weekend. :) This 3 day weekend is welcomed, believe me! I have a few papers to grade, but I'm putting that off til tomorrow. I went out yesterday and spent some time with Daughn. We did some shopping at Ross (spent about 2 hours there) and just had some good laughs. Then she, Damian, and I went out to Seguin because they had to pick Dustin up from Memaw and Popo. We hung out on the back deck for a bit and talked and then finally headed back to San Antonio around 11pm. When I got home, I couldn't fall asleep right away. I showed my mom some of the things I found at Ross (I'm always pleased with my purchases! Getting ready to wash these now) and then just kinda hung out til I fell asleep. Then my internal alarm clock went off this morning about a quarter til 6... I was able to go back to sleep and woke up about 8:45. We were supposed to all go out to Landa Park's spring-fed pool today, but Daughn's lost her voice and isn't feeling well, so we're just going to hang out at her house this afternoon. Anyhow, that's my quick update. I promise I'll have a more thought-provoking post sooner than later.
